The system uses Type and Strategy language to describe how a person experiments with energy, response, initiation, recognition, or timing.

Defined or undefined centers, profile lines, gates, and channels create a more detailed symbolic map in traditional Human Design readings.
What Inner Signal keeps
The useful part is self-observation.
Traditional Human Design readings often discuss Type, Strategy, Authority, defined and undefined centers, Profile, Gates, Channels, and the Incarnation Cross. Inner Signal does not calculate those mechanics in this pass. Instead, it lets users self-report known chart fields or take a lightweight reflection quiz that turns the language into practical prompts.
The official Human Design school describes newcomer material around Type and Strategy, Authority, Centers, Definition, Profile, and related chart parts. Independent summaries also note that the system is not scientifically validated. Inner Signal holds both facts together: respect the cultural role, but do not turn the map into certainty.

Why Inner Signal is not an open-ended oracle chat
For now, the app stays deterministic because bounded guidance is easier to audit, safer to explain, and less likely to sound like an authority. A future AI rewrite layer can be added only behind explicit environment gates, safety checks, and user consent.
